For a Little While

Original Abstract Oil Painting, Blue Yellow Green 80.3 x 80.3cm (31.6" x 31.6")

A blue sky. Yellow flowers moving in the green.

It was an ordinary afternoon, the kind you don't expect to remember. The wind kept moving through everything, the stems, the light, the shadows in between, and nothing stayed still long enough to hold.

For a moment, everything was warm, and I was full of joy.

And I knew, even then, that it was already leaving, the way light always does.
